She finished her senior residency from Pediatric hospital affiliated to Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, India in the year 2016. Dr. Sonam is skilled in Clinical pathology, hematology, immunology, serology and hemoglobin chromatography for hemoglobinopathies. She is a certified ISO 15189:2022 Internal auditor.

Dr. Sonam has over 11 years of experience in renowned medical institutes in India and UAE, specializing in managing the entire operational flow of the lab and supervising the laboratory quality management system. She has published articles in peer reviewed journals and has presented papers and posters at Indian and international conferences. She is an advocate of voluntary blood donations and has participated in blood donations drives during her professional journey.
